Moong /Green gram soup
whole mung – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
water – 1 1/2 cups
Ginger – 1 inch shredded
Onion – 1 chopped
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
salt – to taste
Green chilies – to taste (chopped)
- In a pressure cooker add the soaked moong and water. Cook it just for 1 whistle. If using a pan, cook the moong until soft.
- Let it cool down.
- Now add ginger, onion, lemon juice, salt and green chilies.
- The soup is ready to be served.
